Setting up the Zoho Recruit integration

In this guide you will know how to fully configure your Zoho Recruit integration with Brainner.

*Note: You must be a team or organisation with admin rights in Brainner and Zoho to install this integration.

1. Log in to your Brainner account.

2. Click Settings on the top right corner.

3. Click on the ATS tab.

4. Select Zoho from the list of integrations.

5. Sign-in to your Zoho Recruit account account to connect both platforms. Use your usual Zoho recruit credentials to log in and authorize the integration.

6. Click Accept to authorize the integration.

As you can see from the image below, Brainner will need these permissions to: import jobs, candidates and rejection reasons automatically from Zoho, and post the results and update stages in the candidate’s profile in Zoho Recruit.

  • Congratulations! The connection between Brainner and Zoho Recruit is active!

There are still a few quick steps we will need you to take to configure Lever for this integration.

7. In https://www.brainner.ai/dashboard/settings/ats, toggle the option 'Keep candidate stages in sync' to automatically reflect any stage changes made to candidates in Lever directly in Brainner, and select all the archive/rejection reasons that you will be using.

8. Click Save changes

After selecting the settings in Brainner, you’ll asked to create the following webhook in Zoho Recruit:

  • https://admin.brainner.ai/api/ats/XXX/webhook?action=update_stage

⚠️ Note: This URL is just an example — please check your specific webhook URLs in the pop-up that appears after clicking Save Changes:

Webhook ending in action=update_stage

1. In Zoho, Go to the Setup section

2. Under Automation, click 'Actions'

3. In the Webhooks tab, click 'Configure Webhook'

4. Fill in the fields as follows and click 'Save':

o Name: Brainner Update Stages

o URL To Notify: Copy and paste the URL provided by Brainner to update candidates stages..

o Method: Post

o Module: Applications

o URL Parameters:

- Parameter Name: id

- Parameter Value: Applications – Application Id

5. Go to Workflow Rules (still under Automation) and click 'Create Rule'

6. Set the following:

• Module ‘Applications’

• Rule name: Brainner Update Stages

7. Set the conditions and actions:

• WHEN:

o On a record action

o Change Status

o Application from status: 1) Any status > 2) Any Status

• CONDITION 1

o All applications

• INSTANT ACTIONS

o Webhooks

8. Select the webhook you created (Brainner Update Stages), click 'Associate', then click 'Save'.

✅ Done — Candidate stage syncing is now active!
