Reporting to the Sales Manager, the successful candidate will: -

 1.     Work with Distributors in the Export markets in the management and execution of marketing, branding, media and PR strategies for the Company’s brands to ensure that the company’s marketing goals and objectives are met.

2.     Preparation of fiscal marketing plans in line with Brand positioning for presentation and approval by the Senior Management Team.

3.     Review and analyze the effectiveness of promotions and marketing activities carried out in the assigned export markets.

4.     Coordinate with the Export coordinator (s) the delivery and implementation of POP/marketing materials for use during all promotions and trade events in the Export markets.

5.     Visit the trade during Promotions and sampling sessions to assess the level of execution and make immediate recommendations to ensure brand objectives are met.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • A tertiary level education in the areas of Marketing, Sales, Management Studies, Business Administration or an equivalent accreditation.

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a Sales or Marketing related position.

  • Possess interpretative judgement, an appreciation of management principles and practices as well as the socio-cultural characteristics of the countries and communities served by the company.

·       Must be energetic, self-motivated and able to work with little supervision.

·       Excellent interpersonal skills

·       Effective verbal and written communication – must be able to present ideas clearly.

·       Good time management

·       Good analytical skills

·       Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Applications, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel

·       Good organizational, planning and prioritization skills.
