KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain condition and appearance of the grounds. Ensures that all external areas of the WIBISCO Compound are kept clean and free of leaves, garbage, excessive dust/ dirt buildup and other foreign objects that could contaminate or compromise the Company’s quality, safety and GMP standards.

• Maintain condition and appearance of the landscape. Ensures that the field and all other landscaped areas of the compound are well maintained. This includes de-bushing and spraying areas with chemicals (away from manufacturing areas) to remove excessive weeds, vines and other foliage which may create nesting areas for vermin and other unwanted pests.

• Bird Proofing Inspection. Inspection of overhead beams and ledges for pest harborage and correct as required.

• Ensures that guttering on all buildings on the compound are cleaned and cleared in accordance with a cleaning schedule.

• Washing and cleaning of company assigned vehicles as required.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE:

• A minimum of 1 year experience in landscaping or a similar role.

• Ability to operate heavy equipment and machinery.

• A secondary education including Mathematics and English at CXC General Proficiency level or equivalent is preferred.
