We are looking to bring on a Special Projects Manager to lead and oversee critical initiatives that are non-routine and strategically important to the business. The ideal candidate is someone who has a strong desire to execute and deliver on projects successfully, ensuring that they align with organizational goals and drive business outcomes. The person needs to possess incredible work ethic, grit, organizational skills, integrity, problem solving abilities, cross-collaboration skills and eagerness to learn.

CurbWaste has seen consecutive quarter over quarter growth and positioned itself as the up and coming system of record for the waste industry. Leveraging a founding team from the waste industry, CurbWaste has focused on ease of use and automations to bring a user experience the waste industry has seldomly seen. The Special Projects Manager will be responsible for delivering on key strategic projects that will help the team take the company to the next level. Requirements

What You Will Do

As the Special Projects Manager, you will play a pivotal role in executing key strategic projects related to improving the experience we deliver to our customers including relationship management, advocacy and support as well as the experience we deliver to our employees. You will work closely with the Chief of Staff and the rest of our leadership team to build out initiatives that allow us to continually improve the brand experience to exceed customer and internal expectations:

Tactical responsibilities will include:

  • Customer Advocacy Support: Manage customer suggestion intake process and cross-functionally collaborate with the Product, Customer Success (CS), Sales and Engineering teams to ensure that customer needs are being met and that we are providing solutions that drive value. Additionally, this includes assisting the VP of CX with at-risk account remediation efforts and documenting the needs of key strategic clients

  • CX Operations: Create and maintain CX process documentation, ensure customer-facing documentation meets brand guidelines, meet with all departments regularly to ensure that customer-facing process gaps are addressed in a timely manner

  • Product Rollout Strategy and Marketing: Partner with the Product and CS teams to ensure that the rollout of new features is seamless and prepare customer-facing product update communication materials

  • CX Analysis: Monitor and track themes across reported issues and new feature suggestions to ensure Customer voice is being heard and escalated as needed

  • EX Operations: Develop centralized company-level Resource Center, take lead in streamlining the employee onboarding process and assist with team event planning and engagement activities

  • Learning and Development: Build out a comprehensive product training program and Help Center for both employees and customers

  • Ad-Hoc Projects: Collaborate with senior management to align on projects to achieve the business’ strategic objectives, identifying key deliverables and milestones; Spearhead the execution of strategic ad-hoc projects ensuring the are delivered on time, within scope, on budget, and with full alignment of project stakeholders

  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in dynamic environments and manage projects across various domains

  • Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to use data-driven insights to inform decision-making

  • High degree of intellectual curiosity, desire to dive deep, and willingness to learn

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business, project management or a related field

  • Familiarity with SaaS business models and/or Waste Management industry a plus

  • Critical thinking skills with experience in troubleshooting software issues a plus

  • 1-2 years of experience in a project management role or working for a software company is a plus
