Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily operations of processing and packaging lines to meet production targets, adjusting workflows and manpower allocation as needed
Allocate and assign shift staffing based on production demand and resource availability.
Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) and sanitation standard operating procedures (SSOPs), ensuring all processes follow documented requirement.
Perform regular process and equipment audits—walking production lines using detailed checklists (e.g., pre‑op sanitation, HACCP CCP monitoring)—and follow up on corrective actions.
Enforce strict food safety and sanitation protocols, including personal hygiene standards, allergen controls, and cleaning regimes, using daily sanitation checklists.
Conduct scheduled sanitation audit walks with QA/HSE teams to verify compliance and document findings.
Monitor real-time production to ensure products meet approved quality specifications; initiate corrective actions for deviations.
Lead quality assessments, such as in‑line inspections and product checks, with documented audit trails and feedback to staff.
Confirm availability and serviceability of production equipment; coordinate preventive maintenance and breakdown responses.
Ensure timely supply of materials and packaging, flagging shortages or quality issues promptly.
Supervise and mentor line personnel to boost productivity, quality, and adherence to food safety standards.
Provide on‑the‑job training on SOPs, hygiene practices, and corrective action protocols.
Complete production summaries, labour allocation logs, quality and sanitation checklists, and incident reports per established procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation for personnel, equipment, materials, non-conformances, and corrective actions.
Develop, update, and utilize detailed checklists for GMP, SSOP, HACCP CCP, and safety audits.
Conduct internal audit walks across shifts; summarize findings and implement follow‑up plans.
Monitor line staff attendance, punctuality, and conduct disciplinary actions according to HR policies.
Complete and approve employee time cards in line with established procedures.
Identify operational inefficiencies and quality or safety gaps; propose and drive corrective and preventive action (CAPA).
Collaborate on Kaizen initiatives, equipment upgrades, and waste reduction programs.
Conduct pre‑shift safety briefings, equipment safety checks, and encourage a culture of proactive safety and quality awareness
BSc in Management/ Sciences/Engineering or related field
Minimum of 5 years working experience in similar field
Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in a Manufacturing environment
Excellent Project Management skills
Proficient in MS Office
Or a combination of relevant training and experience will be considered
