Job Title: Packaging Machine Operator
Location: Baboonia Trace, Charlieville
Division: Operations | Department: Production | Section: Packaging
Reports To: Production Manager / Production Supervisor

Job Summary:
Operate and maintain packaging machines and auxiliaries in compliance with approved standards, procedures, and production targets.

Key Duties:

• Configure and inspect packaging equipment.

• Clean and sanitize machines per SSOP protocols.

• Monitor operational parameters and conduct QC checks.

• Troubleshoot issues and maintain documentation.

• Ensure compliance with HSE and GMP standards.

• Manage packaging material inventory and maintain 5S practices.

• Collaborate with supervisors and train junior operators.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 O’ Levels including Math.

• Technical Certificate in Plant Operations (asset).

• Minimum 2 years manufacturing/food processing experience OR 1 year as trainee operator.

• Certifications: Basic Food Safety, GMP, OSH, Sanitation & Hygiene, First Aid/CPR.

• Physically fit, shift/weekend availability.

Skills:
Mechanical aptitude, QC auditing, safety compliance, teamwork, digital readiness.
