Inca Digital is a Digital Asset Data and Intelligence Company started in 2018.

Inca serves clients across national security, intelligence, leading crypto exchanges, large financial institutions, regulators, and law enforcement. Public examples of some of our work꞉

Inca operates as a fast paced, nimble, global, and remote technology company. We leverage an asynchronous‑first workflow, try to minimize time spent on meetings/paperwork, and rely heavily on detailed documentation, atomic iterations, and open‑debate. The R&D Team is split with an internal firewall, where one half supports Inca’s Federal work and the other half supports Inca’s Commercial business.

This position is under Inca Digital Federal LLC. Candidate must be an American citizen.
Security clearance is not required for this position, but is nice to have.

Job Description

Join the Research and Development (R&D) Team to help manage our workflows on the designing and development of new data products and tools.

Report directly to our Director of R&D. Work with the R&D Team’s engineers and data scientists to establish and manage priorities, timelines, and project execution.
Construct and update milestones which define the scope, requirements, and deliverables for product development efforts.
Help manage resources and communicate updates, changes, and performance associated with active milestones.
Review development timelines with client managers and Business Team members.

The R&D Team consumes internal and external sources of data, processes it, stores it, analyzes it, and helps productize it (as APIs, dashboards, and alerts).

In doing so, R&D interacts with Inca’s various other teams and touches products, investigations, research, and data which are directly used by Inca’s clients.
R&D is a small and highly collaborative team of engineers. Suggest solutions, propose changes, and offer your unique perspective.

Credentials/Skills

Required Skills and Experience

Demonstrate strong organizational skills, clear communication, and punctuality.
Experience using project management tools (Github project boards, Notion, Monday, Jira, etc.).
Proven ability to effectively hit deadlines for project deliverables, communicate across program stakeholders, and document requirements, issues, & feedback.
Experience with source control tool sets (Git).

Familiarity with Relevant Technology

Programming Languages

Required꞉ Python, SQL.
Nice to have꞉ GraphQl, Java, Go, Javascript/Typescript, Solidity, CIPHER.

Environment, Tooling, & Concepts

Infrastructure‑as‑code software tooling (terraform).
Knowledge of CI/CD processes (GitHub Actions, AWSCode).
Understanding of containerized environments (kubernetes/docker).

Beneficial Experience

Knowledge of cloud resource provisioning, configuration, and automation.
Developing ETL/ELT data pipelines.
Familiarity with Blockchains, Digital Assets, and Financial Technologies.
