The role
We are looking for a senior leader to head our Fund Operations function across the group. This is a critical role at the heart of our activities, responsible for ensuring that our funds operate with institutional-grade governance, best-in-class investor reporting, and scalable operating infrastructure, transparency, and scalability.
You will oversee the full operational lifecycle of our funds, lead and grow a dedicated team, and play a key role in modernizing and digitalizing our reporting and portfolio management processes with a particular focus on high-quality, timely and decision-useful information for LPs and other stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
Oversight of:
Fund administration and accounting
Regulatory and statutory compliance
Investor, regulatory and internal reporting, with direct accountability for LP-facing deliverables
Quarterly, semi-annual and annual investor reporting, including portfolio company performance, valuations, risk metrics and narratives
Audit processes and coordination with external auditors
Acting as the primary operational interface for institutional investors, including during fundraising, onboarding, DDQ/RFP processes and ongoing LP due diligence
Managing and expanding a currently three-member fund operations team based in Budapest and Vienna
Acting as a senior counterpart to:
External fund administrators, auditors, legal and tax advisors
Internal investment, portfolio management and finance teams
Supporting the digitalisation and automation of portfolio management, reporting and data workflows
Contributing to the further institutionalisation and scaling of the O3 Partners platform
What we are looking for
10+ years of relevant experience in fund operations, fund administration, finance or audit, ideally within;
Venture capital, private equity or private credit
Multi-jurisdictional European fund structures (Luxembourg RAIFs, Dutch, Nordic or similar vehicles)
Strong understanding of:
Fund accounting and NAV processes
Regulatory and reporting requirements
Audit coordination and governance
Institutional investor reporting standards, LP communication practices and data transparency expectations
Hands-on experience working directly with institutional LPs (pension funds, insurers, FoFs, family offices) in an operational or reporting capacity
Up to date experience concerning online and other digital tools and solutions to be used for fund operations, accounting and reporting purposes
Proven people management experience and ability to build and lead growing teams
Comfortable operating in a cross-border, multi-office environment
Hands-on mindset combined with senior-level judgement
Strong English skills (additional European languages are a plus)
