1. Job Summary
To perform inventory control activities as they relate to the receipt, storage, and issue of inventory in the raw materials department.
The incumbent is responsible for organizing, maintaining, and monitoring the warehouse stocks. In addition to, he/she will also be responsible for receiving the stocks, handling merchandise, preparing outgoing shipments, as well as checking for incoming orders and maintaining a list of damaged items.
2. Principal duties and Responsibilities
Records and checks quality and quantity of all goods being received and dispatched into the Warehouse.
Performs daily verification of Pick Lists for the Magnus Warehouse after batching is completed. All picklist must be verified against the physical stock and any discrepancies noted must be highlighted on the sheet.
To ensure that all entries in AX, for both incoming and outgoing products, are posted accurately before the shift ends. Ensure that product labels are printed and placed on incoming stock.
Pulls requested material from stock based on documented requests.
Assist with the receipt and transfer of oil and bulk flour to the Production Department.
Conduct daily, weekly and monthly physical stock counts of all items m accordance with established procedures.
Ensure product labelling and batch identification are done on all stock items
Ensure that all inventory returned from Production are identified and accurately received before being re-used in the RM Warehouse
Assist with driving the forklift as required.
Ensure proper stock rotation in the warehouses to ensure proper traceability
Ensure that all Food Safety and HSE guidelines are followed
Assist in ensuring food safety and food defence goals are realized
Other duties as directed by the Warehouse Supervisor.
3. Key deliverables
Ensure the timely and accurate movement of inventory both physically and systematically
Ensure proper stock rotation of inventory and that transfers are according to the appropriate lots.
Ensure the application of food safety and security in the warehouse.

5. General Requirements
Minimum of five (5) CSEC passes including Mathematics and English
CIPS Advanced Certificate or equivalent would be an asset
Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a warehouse environment
Computer literate (Microsoft Word and Excel)
6. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work with minimum supervision
Knowledge of inventory management
Ability to manage time effectively
Certified forklift driving
