Remote (Barbados)Full-timeDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Carries out preventive maintenance checks, inspections and repairs on mechanical plant and equipment.
Troubleshoots and rectifies mechanical plant and equipment problems in accordance with established standards and specifications.
Installs and tests mechanical plant and equipment.
Diagnoses recurring mechanical equipment or systems problems, recommends corrective action and effects necessary repairs.
Assists in the commissioning of new equipment.
Carries out basic welding functions required for breakdowns.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
A minimum of two (2) years’ working experience in a manufacturing environment.
A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a welding, fabricating or similar environment
City and Guilds certificate in Engineering Skills
Diploma in Mechanical Maintenance or equivalent.
