To ensure displays are adequately stocked with the Company’s products in accordance with the planogram.
Duties and Responsibilities
To ensure displays are adequately stocked with the company’s products in accordance with the plan-o-gram.
To retrieved Company’s stock/products from supermarket warehouse for merchandising.
To complete plan-o-gram changes within agreed time.
To ensure proper rotation of products on displays in lane as well as warehouse stock.
To ensure the removal of all expired products.
To ensure products and advertising displays are adequate, properly placed and clean.
To ensure that racks and merchandising equipment are in clean and sanitary condition at all times.
To assist in the installation of racks and promotional material in supermarkets as required.
To give feedback on competitors activities on the trade.
Actively engage in communication with consumer while in store.
To communicate with salespersons and monitor product trends in an effort to fulfil customer current demands.
To maintain a friendly and good working relationship with salespersons, sales managers and all accounts.
To ensure proper handling of products.
Avoid blocking aisles and displays when replenishing.
Take advantage of available space for our products.
To complete assigned route as schedule on a daily basis.
To accept route changes as the company sees fit.
To communicate with immediate supervisor if unable to complete route on the said day (with a reasonable excuse)
To complete Merchandiser In-Store Report forms on a daily basis and have it signed by the Store Supervisor / Manager only.
Completes or assist with any other duties necessary as defined by the management on a daily and continuing basis.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
The incumbent should possess basic knowledge and experience of the sales function.
Excellent Communication/Interpersonal skills.
Must be Honest, Reliable and Customer Focused.
