·Complete forms to record all receipts, transfers and returns of raw materials to/from the main raw material warehouse. 

·Record all goods coming into the warehouse in the Raw Materials Log book.  Record the date the container was off-loaded, the Delivery Note # and the control number.

·Coordinate with AU officer on the opening and offloading of AU Containers & LCL Shipments

·Receive, Register, store, locate and issue raw materials in accordance with approved procedures:

·Ensure that incoming raw materials are properly palletized according to specifications and racked. 

·Ensure as per allergen management the proper storage and labelling of all product to ensure compliance

·Organise storage space for incoming materials by rotating stock in the warehouse by directing Forklift Operators. 

·Prepare labels (identification stickers, tags and allergen stickers) in accordance with standard operating procedure.   

·Ensure conformance with FIFO method for issuing goods.

·Ensure FSSE compliance within all storage locations internal & external including plant and equipment.

·Ensure Daily housekeeping is conducted and coordinated – Clean as you go 

·Collect and position pallets at required locations for storage, loading or unloading operations.

·Maintain/update the Container Log (Computer) - Date containers arrive on the compound, when they are off- loaded, when they leave the compound, seal number. 

·Ensure records are maintained and updated of the perpetual inventory records Film Cardex & Oil Cardex

·Maintain and update Container Log, Sanitation Log & Temperature log daily 

·Ensure that these functions are carried out by the Forklift Operators - visual inspection and check fluid levels of all vehicles before starting. 

·Operates forklifts, stacker and truck.  Wash and clean forklift as required. 

·Occasionally provide on the job training for new forklift drivers. Assist during month end stock counts in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.

·Perform cycle or spot counts of specific raw material items as requested by the Warehouse Supervisor/Team Lead.

·Oversee truck loading operations to ensure all policies and procedures are followed accordingly.  Load and off-load trucks and containers as required by company procedures.

·Oversee and ensure samples are recorded and taken to Quality Lab in a timely manner.

·Inspect all storage locations both internal and external for compliance and suitability with all GMP/FSSE requirements.

·Perform other related duties as required by the Warehouse Supervisor/Team Lead
