DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Management Accountant:

  • Collects and verifies timekeeping information.

  • Processes both weekly and bi-weekly payrolls timely and accurately, utilising the Company’s payroll software.

  • Calculates all deductions related to pension, medical, NIS and PAYE.

  • Investigates and resolves any discrepancies in payroll.

  • Addresses and resolves any payroll related enquiries from employees and Management.

  • Prepares and enters weekly and fortnightly payroll journals into the Company’s accounting software.

  • Prepares payroll reports as requested by Management.

  • Provides coverage where necessary and as assigned for the following positions:

    •Sales Administration

    •Accounts Receivable

    •Accounts Payables

    General Ledger – Cash and Bank

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:

  • An Associate Degree in Accounting or a related field required.

  • At least three (3) years of working experience in Payroll Processing and Accounts Clerk duties.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as organisational skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.

  • Up to date knowledge of relevant labour laws and statutory deductions.
