1. JOB PURPOSE
To oversee the planning and implementation of projects of a technical nature for WIBISCO (as it relates to Manufacturing, Engineering, Maintenance and Facilities) and to ensure that they are delivered on time and within budget and scope.
KEY FUNCTIONS
2.1 Planning, directing and controlling engineering projects related to the Company’s plant and equipment.
2.2 Defining project scopes and objectives in collaboration with senior management and relevant stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility.
2.3 Determination of capital investment required to implement project plans effectively.
2.4 Developing draft budget proposals and overseeing the administration of approved budgets.
2.5 Ensuring the availability and appropriate allocation of human, physical and capital resources to achieve successful execution of projects.
2.6 Measuring project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
2.7 Analysis of problems and provision of technical solutions that can be implemented in a timely manner.
3. PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS
A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or Industrial Engineering
At three (3) years’ experience as an Engineer - managing, monitoring and controlling technical projects, site based engineering projects, preferably in a Manufacturing environment
Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) would be an asset
Understanding Auto CAD drawings would be an asset
Excellent computer skills including (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project)

· Willingness to work on evenings and weekends in order to meet project deliverables
· Understanding of ethical behaviour and business practices
· Knowledge of statutory, regulatory and industry imperatives for the engineering function
