Job Summary:

Supports overall production goals by performing diverse manual and operational tasks on the manufacturing floor, ensuring materials, products, and workspaces are managed efficiently and safely. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Material Handling: Receive, unload, move, and organize raw materials, components, and finished goods; may involve lifting up to 23kg (50lbs).

• Production Support: Assist machine operators and assemblers; perform assembly line tasks, basic testing, and quality checks.

• Packaging & Shipping: Sort, weigh, pack, and crate finished products for shipment.

• Workplace Maintenance: Keep production areas, equipment, and shared spaces clean, organized, and free from hazards.

• Equipment Operation: Operate basic hand tools and sometimes light machinery under supervision.

• Inventory: Participate in inventory counts and monitor supply levels.

• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all health, safety, and quality procedures; report any issues or hazards immediately.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent (often preferred).

• Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.

• Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy items.

• Strong commitment to workplace safety.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.

• Flexibility to work in different areas and adapt to changing tasks.

 

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced manufacturing or factory setting.

• May involve repetitive tasks, exposure to machinery noise, and varying temperatures.
