JOB PURPOSE

To support the sales effort in achieving profitable sales volume and product distribution through effective merchandising of the product lines within a specific territory.

KEY DUTIES

1. To ensure displays are adequately stocked with the Company’s products in accordance with the planogram.

 2.   Actively engage in communication with consumer while instore.

 3.   To ensure proper rotation of products and the removal of al expired products.

4.   To ensure products and advertising displays are adequately, properly placed and clean.

 5.   To ensure that racks and merchandising equipment are in clean and sanitary condition at all times.

  6.   To install racks and promotional material in supermarkets as required.

 7.   To give feedback on competitors’ activities on the trade.

 8.   To communicate with salespersons and monitor product trends in an effort to fulfill customer current demands.

 9.   To maintain a friendly and good working relationship with all accounts

 10. To ensure proper handling of products

 11. Avoid blocking aisles and displays when replenishing.

 12. Take advantage of available space for our products

 13. To complete Merchandiser In-Store forms on a daily basis and have it signed by the Store Supervise / Manager only.

14. Completes any other duties necessary as defined by the management on a daily and continuing basis.

 15. Perform other related duties as required by the job function.

EXPERIENCE

1. 12+ months as Merchandiser, Retail Associate, Shelf Stocker, Route Sales Assistant, or similar

2. Experience in FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods), retail chains, or supermarket merchandising

3. Experience executing planograms, promotions, and product displays

4. Demonstrated ability to meet display/stocking targets and timelines

QUALIFICATIONS

1. A minimum of 3 O'level passes , including Math and English
