Job Purpose

To provide general support to the Research and Development function by assisting with product testing, sample preparation, documentation, production follow-up and related departmental activities as required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign product codes and prepare samples for shelf-life and sensory testing.

  • Support sensory evaluations by preparing samples, setting up stations, distributing products, and collecting documentation.

  • Segregate, label, weigh, and record trial products following line trials.

  • Coordinate and monitor the timely disposal of trial products.

  • Assist with evaluation, inventory management, and disposal of raw materials and finished products.

  • Prepare laboratory samples for testing, evaluation, and R&D activities.

  • Maintain and organize product files and records.

  • Monitor initial production runs, analyze results, and report deviations for corrective action.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • **·**Prior experience in food manufacturing environment would be an asset

  • ·Experience in laboratory support, product testing, sensory preparation, filing or administrative support would be an asset.

  • ·Must be Computer literate & able to operate Microsoft Office

  • A suitable combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
